We have started.....

The kitchen renovation! We have bought the paint and other items need for redoing the cabinets. I just took the first door off of the top units, along with the hardware and will be taking the rest of them off as soon as I’m finished sharing my excitement with you all. I am going with a warm off white color for the top and a warm black for the bottom. I might change my mind on the lower cabinets. How is that for flying by the seat of your pants? If I like the color on the top cabinets I might continue with it on the lower. I’m not sold on the black, this tells me I am not convinced black is what I want to go with. I need to explore the option of using a deep brown (espresso color) solid deck stain for the lower with exception of the bar which will be the same color as the upper cupboards….I think. I would love for you to share your thoughts with me.
We are ordering the quartz counter tops on Monday. I can’t wait to see how all of this turns out.

  1. It sounds great! I love the idea of the two colors. Of coourse, I am much like you. I would have to wait until I got the top finished. Happy painting and post the redo pics. Blessings!

  2. Black is so in right now. It depends on what color counter tops you are using. If the two colors don't suit you, then go with all black.
    Black goes with everything.
